This may sound silly but yes. Decaffeination removes about 97% of caffeine in coffee beans. But don’t worry, a typical cup of decaf has about 2mg of caffeine, compared to a cup of regular coffee which has about 95mg of caffeine.

We roast Monday to Friday each week; the coffee you receive will usually have been roasted a few days before despatch.
Yes, we have the usual grind options available, listed in order of course to fine; Cafetière, filter and espresso. For the freshest coffee, we recommend grinding whole bean at home.
We recommend keeping it in the bag it comes in, seal it after each use or pop it inside a container in a cool, dark space.
We recommend using the coffee as soon as you can to get the most flavour from it, especially if it is ground.
As much as you need to enjoy your coffee. There is a lot of information available online on how best to make coffee in a variety of different brew methods. We recommend you try for yourself and come up with an amount that you enjoy.

Yes, and the snails and slugs do not like it. But take care; it doesn’t work with every soil type so take advice from your local gardening expert.

No. Strength is determined by how much coffee and water you use. If you enjoy a particular roast profile, please contact us for a recommendation. Although you can always check out our coffee’s cupping notes on our product page.

Our coffee is a combination of organic, Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance certified. These accreditations vary depending on where the coffee comes from. One thing is certain, we always source ethically and ensure our beans are of the highest quality.

Subscriptions
Yes, we offer two different subscription packages, The Kent Coffee Club and Subscribe & Save. Find out more about how these work below.
You choose your monthly quantity (500g or 750g), you choose your grind type (wholebean, medium or fine) and we handle the rest.
Phil our master roaster, selects and roasts a different speciality coffee every month. This will be delivered on the 12th of each month (or as close to as possible). If paying by direct debit this will be charged on the 2nd of each month (or as close to as possible).
Simply find your favourite coffee from our shop, select ‘Subscribe and save’ from the purchase options and choose your delivery frequency (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). On all products you save £3 off a 1kg bag, £2 off a 500g bag and £1 off a 250g bag.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription from your account page at any time.
Yes. Please call or email us to pause your subscription or to change the date of your next delivery.
Yes, Subscriptions can be amended from your account. Changing your coffee type, grind, weight, or shipping preference will not affect the delivery schedule for your subscription. Changing the frequency online will not affect your next despatch date, this will come into effect after the next renewal. If you would like to change your next despatch date, please send us an email.
Yes, you can Subscribe & Save to multiple products, including our bundles.
Shipping & Delivery
Normally 2-3 business days. However, during busy periods this may take slightly longer.
We use Royal mail and the best courier service available via Parcel To Go to send our UK orders.

No, our courier company do not offer the service to deliver on weekends currently.
We really hope you’re happy with your coffee and don’t have any need to return it! But if anything is wrong with your order, please let us know straight away and we will arrange a return or exchange.
Due to the nature of our payments system, the full cost of the order will be charged to the card as soon as it is placed.
